My ventures exist to expand our understanding in domains where academia cannot or will not go.

The expansion of the institutions of academia has been accompanied by an intellectual ossification. The most strident intellectuals of our age are blissfully unaware of their own susceptibility to dogma, most especially in domains too complex for a man to claim to be an authority without skin in the game.

Every person must necessarily cleave to dogma within most domains of his/her life in order to maintain psychological stability and the capacity to act fluently. Yet bereft of either the humility to recognize his dogma or the integrity to declare it the pedagogue reduces himself to a demagogue.

The constraints of postmodern political thought have suppressed the honest exploration of the most interesting and important issues of our time. They have censured the questions that can be asked. They have restricted the methods that can be employed. And they have stifled the range of acceptable answers.
